M1130 Stryker CV

(Command Vehicle)

Though not a main member of "The Art of War's Stryker Family", the initially designated "Unarmed Stryker", later to be unofficially renamed as the 'Stryker M1130 Command Vehicle' certainly deserves to be mentioned due to it's great importance and impact.

In current Alpha versions this vehicle is used as the Mobile Command Center, being able to call in armored reinforcements (which are dropped in via air transport).

Are there any other types of CV planned such as the M577.

Since there's a medic evac variant of it, I guess it can be used for that purpose too.

Definitely Thumbs Up! , in fact the M577A3 was to be our initial Command Vehicle prototype, but since the Strykers had a higher priority at that time it was decided to use a Stryker variant for that role (since it was more of a coding experiment), the resulting vehicle later became the M1130 CV.

There will be numerous command vehicles, some with additional roles (combat, recon, unit support, etc).

Yeah, chances are some modern members of the M113 family might be included in TAOW as well (if so then you can expect various variants for various purposes).

Since we're focusing on modernized variants we may include the M1068 as a command vehicle (the M1068 is a modernized modification of the M577).
