AV-8B Harrier II Plus

The AV-8B Harrier II Plus adds a new APG-65 radar to the (already) extended capabilities of the Night Attack Harrier version (which in turn upgraded the initial "Day-Attack" AV-8B by incorporating new electronics, enhanced cockpit and more powerful engines).

This aircraft will provide Close Air Support for the US Naval and Landing Forces with armament similar to the one of the A-10C.

The Harrier is a V/STOL (Vertical / Short Take-Off and Landing) ground attack aircraft which will be able to "hover" in order to use it's 25mm cannon with great accuracy and effectiveness.
