The Middle East Crisis is good but there's problem in aircraft, it doesn't have countermeasures for Israel.

Hmm... Interesting. I wonder why that is? Sounds wierd, unless it was for game balancing issues or something.Middle East Crisis 1.5 Puzzled-2

Have you went to their forum site and asked why it's that way?

Sorry for the noobish and kinda off topic question, but you guys know if aircraft in C&C 3 have countermeasures? (I haven't played it yet) Middle East Crisis 1.5 765650

maybe the C&C 3 doesn't have the countermeasures logic. still it's still wise to choose ZH for realistic game mod...

Same thought as mine, though Zero Hour is an older game (which don't have graphic like C&C3 for example), it's still a fantastic platform and very malleable for our needs.

In my opinion it's a great thing to mod older games, even today there are people modding Red Alert and Red Alert 2.

Even Doom! Middle East Crisis 1.5 648248

lol! My favorite Doom version in terms of sound is the one from Playstation (even though I love Pantera the PS version had excellent sound effects, the music was replaced by ambient sound/music like a horror game, it suited Doom incredibly well).

Fortunately I managed to get Playstation One's Doom in my PSP (Playstation Portable), so I can play it sometimes when I get the chance.

By the way guys, if you want to download Doom's music try this excellent fan site with music from all Doom versions:
http://www.doom2.net/~doomdepot/music.html

The 3DO's version of Doom had a lot of issues, but I love it's version from the track 'At Doom's Gate', check it out: http://www.doom2.net/~doomdepot/music/3d0%20doom/E1M1%20-%20At%20Dooms%20Gate.mp3

(Note, you can save those tracks like an usual browser page, those are all in mp3 I think).

The version I played (Mideast Crisis for Zero Hour) is a fantastic mod (Mideast Crisis is one of ZH's "Bigs"), the mod is pretty much complete and it's team shifted priorities to Mideast Crisis 2 (a grander project).

The Mideast Crisis Team was extremely helpful, they gave us permission to use their models for The Art of War as well sunny.

If you get the chance I advise you to check it, here's their main page:
