Next Generation MBTs!
Well I Had Some "Private" Info About The Next MBTs For Some Countries
As Russia Is Developing Their "Next-Generation" Main Battle Tank Codename "Black Eagle" The US Feared The Project Though They Were Developing One Before Knowing That. They Then Took Advancement In That And Quickly Resumed The Project.
T-80M3 (T-95/T-12) Black Eagle Full Profile:
Weight: 58 Tons
Length (Gun Forward): 9m
Hull Length: 7m
Main Gun: 135mm
Machine Guns: 1x7.62mm 1x12.7mm
Traverse Range: 360°
ATGW: 9K119M
Gun Load: 30 Rounds
MG Load: 1000x7.62mm ; 425x12.7mm
ATGW Load: 12x9K119M
Engine: 1500Hp Gas Turbine Engine
Max Road Speed: 70Km/h
Range: 700Km
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The US Made One Prototype Of One Of Two Options
Options:
1) A Very Light Tank Approx. 20t, 105mm Cannon, A Weak, Cheap But Easy Productive And Extremely Light And Fast
2) A Tank Even Heavier Than The M1A2, With A 140mm Cannon, Extreme Armor, High Price, Average/High Speed
Note: One Of Two Of The Option 2 Tank's APSs Is The TROPHY The Second May Be A Newly Developed Or Undicided
(I Would Pick Option 2, For Me Option 1 Is Just Too... Risky.)
Here's An Image Of The Option 1 Prototype Tank:
Note: Option 2 May Be An Upgrade For The M1A2 Or A Completely New Tank
I'm Very Curious To See Which Tank Will Replace The Good'Ol Favorite Known As The M1 Abrams?
What Do Y'all Think?

The 105mm gun in this prototype was also tested for the Styker MGS.

I'm very curious to see how the new defensive APS technologies will impact the future of tank warfare . The US Army plans for it's next generation armored vehicles to focus on smaller, easily transportable (specially via cargo planes) and swiftly deployed forces rather than very armored units (which would take longer to deploy and more money to maintain).
Basically such plans are already becoming a reality with the Stykers (focus on unit agility and teamwork in order to defeat more armored threats).
Some say that something similar to what happened after the end of WW2 (the fact that heavily armored tanks were eventually made lighter and more maneuverable) may happen again in the near future however I'd say it's still "too soon" to let go of heavy armor and MBT's as those are some of the most feared units on the battlefield and have an enormous importance).

I Know, But They May Change That, Option 1 Has Extreme Weight reduction, It Has Tracks Even Lighter Than Rubber One
Extreme Lightweight Armor, I Thought They Were Gonna Include An APS To Make Up For Armor... But They Didn't
I MEAN 20t, C'Mon
Which One Would You Choose?
Either They'll Change The Option 2 Tanks Parts To Make It Lighter, If They Completely Every Part They Change It...
It Would Be Like 40-60 Tons.
I Would Say Too Soon? Or Too Risky?
Note: Option 1 Tank Has No Infantry Defense
Still If Option 2 Is Lightened It Will Rock The Hell Out Of A Battlefield
What Was Your Reaction of Seeing The T95 Full Profile, And The Comparison Between Option 1 & 2
