M1A2 Abrams SEP
First of all, here comes one of my favorite models, the M1A2 Abrams SEP (Systems Enhancement Package).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Armament:
- 120 mm M256 smoothbore Main Gun;
- 1 x .50-caliber (12.7 mm) M2HB heavy machine gun (mounted on top of the commander's hatch, check image below);
- M240 7.62 mm machine gun (coaxial machine gun, meaning the shooter is firing the weapon from the inside the tank and will use the turret to aim and engage the enemy, it can be located right before the Main Gun).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Special Features:
- Six-barreled M250 Smoke Grenade Launchers (located on the right and left sides of the turret, these will allow the tank to protect itself in a thick cloud of smoke which will also block thermal imaging, thus it MAY be able to avoid incoming heat-seeking missiles by "breaking" the Infrared Homing lock).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
View of the commander's M2HB machine gun, note the shields, which are made to protect the gunner (although it will only give a certain level of protection).
The M1A2 SEP also received a 3rd generation depleted uranium encased armor with graphite coating, meaning it's more than prepared for engagement with other "3rd Generation" modern MBT's (Main battle Tanks).

M1A2 Abrams 'TUSK'
This will be an upgraded version of the M1A2 which will receive the "TUSK" (Tank Urban Survival Kit) package upgrade to enhance it's initial performances.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The changes this enhancement package will add are various:
- Remote Weapons Station: which will give the machine gunner the chance to fire the machine gun from the inside of the tank (preventing further exposure to enemy fire);
- Extra Armor: Reactive Armor "Tiles" which are inserted on the right and left sides of the tank and Slat Armour on the back to enhance survivability to enemy Anti-Tank weapons;
- The standard M2 .50 caliber machine gun will be replaced by the M312 Heavy Machine Gun;
- Enhanced gunner sights which will enhance the precision of the tank's weapons.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There are two versions of the TUSK, the difference is the small "flaps" which encases the Reactive Armour Tiles on their extremities, two of which are present on one tank (the closest one), while the other has the standard Tile configuration (blocks)

M6 Bradley Linebacker
The M6 Linebacker is a Bradley variant intended mainly for Surface-to-Air duties.
Although initially intended to be retired from the US Military, the need for a more armored alternative to the M1097 Avenger Air Defense System lead to a change of plans and the service life of the M6 Linebacker was extended.
On TAoW, the standard Bradley Linebacker was updated with a specially modernized variant of the newer M2A3 IFV/M3A3 CFV (Cavalry Fighting Vehicle) improved electronic system.
That special variant was modified so it'll be able to track aircraft much faster and accurately to ensure a fast response to enemy aircraft and highly accurate 25mm fire while keeping a high-awareness level.
It's "special" weapon is the four-tubed Stinger Surface to Air Missile Launcher which replaces the standard TOW anti-tank missile launcher.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Armament:
- M242 Bushmaster 25mm Chaingun;
- Four-Tubed - FIM-92E Stinger Surface-to Air Missile Launcher.

AAVP-7A1 Amphibious Assault Vehicle
The AAVP-7A1 (Amphibious Assault Vehicle Personell version) is the standard amphibious transport vehicle of the United States Marine Corps and will see action on Naval Missions as part of the "landing/breaching component" and will be deployed from certain ships (Amphibious Assault Ship/Amphibious Assault Carrier class vessels).
Armed with a turreted automatic grenade and .50 caliber machine guns, the AAVP is more than prepared for support of the deployed squads.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Armament:
- Mk19 Mod.3 40mm Automatic Grenade Launcher/Grenade Machine Gun;
- M2HB .50-caliber (12.7 mm) Machine Gun.

Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV)
The Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV), previously known as the 'Advanced Amphibious Assault Vehicle' (AAAV), represents a new step into the modernization of current US amphibious assault vehicles.
Due to certain circumstances on TAOW's story, the USMC (United States Marine Corps) requested that the production of the EFV's would commence and therefore these will be deployed as a later "upgrade-replacement" of the AAVP-7A1's.
Just like the AAVP-7A1, this vehicle will be deployed from ships with the objective to land squads of Marines on the shores. The EFV is much more armored, much faster and carries heavier armament than the AAVP.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Armament:
- Mk44 30 mm Bushmaster II Chain gun;
- M2HB .50-caliber (12.7 mm) Machine Gun (coaxial).

AH-64D Apache Longbow
The AH-64D is the latest version of the famous 'Apache' family of US military attack helicopters. The main distinction from the regular Apaches is the special 'Radome' which is located on top of the main rotor mast and contains a Fire Control Radar and other new systems which improves the effectiveness of the gunship on the battlefield.
This new version was also upgraded in other areas (such as extra defense, more powerful engines, etc.)
TAOW's AH-64D variant is equipped with the latest Block III equipment/improvements.
This attack helicopter's main objective will be to attack ground targets, specially tanks and other ground vehicles. Carrying a deadly assortment of armament, which ranges from unguided rockets to anti-tank guided missiles and a deadly 30mm automatic cannon, the Apache is sure to be a key asset on the US Military quest.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Armament:
- M230 30 mm Automatic Cannon;
- Hydra 70 Folding-Fin Aerial Rockets (FFAR's);
- AGM-114L Longbow Hellfire Air-to-Ground Missiles.

AH-1Z SuperCobra / Viper
The AH-1Z can be considered the USMC (United States Marine Corps) equivalent of the US Army's Apache and will be included on naval missions.
This recent variant which originated from the AH-1W SuperCobra features state of the art technology which will give the mythic "Cobra" the ability to stick to the modern standards of military helicopter technology.
It will be deployed from certain ships and it's main objective will be to to give gunship support to USMC personnel and air-to-ground attack (such as the AH-64D).
This version uses the newest engines and composite main rotor system (which will greatly enhance movement and maneuverability over older "Super Cobras") and it is obviously fitted with the latest in target sighting systems and communications equipment.
Speaking of armament, the AH-1Z will be armed with a similar set just like the one found on the AH-64D (Hydras and Hellfires for some serious air-to-ground attack).

- M197 3-barreled 20 mm Gatling-Cannon;

UH-1Y Venom
The UH-1Y Venom is one of the newest additions on the famous Bell Huey's "family" of helicopters.
Being the "brother" of the new AH-1Z SuperCobra/Viper, the UH-1Y's main user is the United States Marine Corps (just like the AH-1Z).
This helicopter was developed from the (now aged) UH-1N Twin Huey, and can be considered to be a major upgrade over the older Twin Huey's standards, this upgrade can be considered as a parallel with the upgrade the older AH-1W SuperCobra is having (to be upgraded to the AH-1Z SuperCobra/Viper).
The main users for this helicopter in TAOW will be certain special units within the USMC and will be obviously used and deployed on naval maps.
It's main purpose is rapid, tactical and specialized transportation (so this helicopter can be considered to be the "Special Operations Transport Helicopter" of the USCM).

F-16C Fighting Falcon
The F-16 "family" of Multirole Fighters is one of the most famous and recognizable military aircraft "families" of all time.
Being adopted by many air forces around the world and long praised by military as one of the best combat planes, the F-16 has an outstanding reputation.
These Multirole Fighters managed to be on "top shape" with recurring upgrades (officially designated as "Block" upgrades) resulting in some of the most technologically-equipped fighters.
TAOW's F-16 version is the F-16C, this particular variant is a single seat version and is also an improved version of the F-16A, it will be equipped according to Block 50/52's standards.
Since it is a multirole fighter it will be able to engage and neutralize any kind of target.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Armament (standard/initial load):
- M61A1 Vulcan 20mm Gatling gun;
- AIM-9X Sidewinder Air-to-Air Missiles;

M1114 Up-Armored Armament Carrier
Since the famous Humvee (HMMWV - High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle) was introduced for service on the battlefield, a series of issues popped up, troops needed extra protection and the Humvee role was even more expanded than before, after a series of upgrades, the M1114 was built to meet the US Army's requirements for a scout, explosive ordnance disposal and military police vehicle.
This version (M1114 Up-Armored Armament Carrier) was upgraded with higher ballistic protection armor and extra protection against explosives.
There are two main variants, one is armed with a .50 Caliber Machine Gun, and the other one with a Mk.19 Automatic Grenade Launcher.
The turret shield gives a great deal of cover to the gunner, however, he is still exposed to enemy fire to some degree.

Stryker Armored Combat Vehicle
The Stryker is a recent "family" of armored combat vehicles which entered service in the US Army, these vehicles have been adopted with several roles in mind, hence there are several specific variants with several roles.
TAOW will have four Stryker variants:
- M1126 Infantry Carrier Vehicle (ICV);
- M1128 Mobile Gun System (MGS);
- M1129 Mortar Carrier (MC);
- M1134 Anti-Tank Guided Missile (ATGM).
The following unarmed variant was made to show the main upgrade the Stryker "family" will be able to support - the Slat Armor, also known as the "Cage Armor".
This armor will increase the Strykers resistance against incoming RPG's.

UH-60 / MH-60K / MH-60L / HH-60L Black Hawks
The iconic Blackhawk is one of the most recognizable helicopters, this aircraft has been the workhorse helicopter of the US Military since the late 70's and is considered an extremely valuable asset to do a great variety of tasks on the battlefield.
TAOW will have 4 distinct Blackhawk variants:
- UH-60: This version is the general purpose Black Hawk variant which will serve as the main aerial transport for most infantry units;
- MH-60K: This variant is a special operations modification of the standard Black Hawk operated with Special Operations in mind (therefore it is a specialized variant);
- MH-60L: This sturdy variant will be able to stick around in the battlefield much longer than all other versions thanks to the extra fuel carried on the external fuel pods;
- HH-60L: This variant can be considered the american specialized "Air Ambulance" that will able the player to bring urgent and swift MEDEVAC (Medical Evacuation) and medical supplies to wounded soldiers in the battlefield.

Re: The Art of War Vehicles
Probably, at the moment we have only chosen the standard-issue weapons load for helicopters (in the gunship case is Anti-Tank/Air to Ground Attack mission as the standard).
As we progress in developing we will include extra upgrades, that will probably include extra / enhanced weapon systems, probably equip helis with AA weapons/stronger rockets/bigger missile payloads, etc.

Re: The Art of War Vehicles
Well sth about your TUSK
The TUSK upgrade Kits have several tiers
For example the Reactive Armour you use is Tier 1
The Automated Weapon Station is Tier 3
But Tier 3 Abes have a different kind of ERA, and also they have a Counter Sniper/Anti Material Mount, which is basicly a M2 fitted ontop of the 120mm as a coax weapon.
Also the Loader will get a Remote Weapon Station and there are Plans for an Active RPG Defence

Re: The Art of War Vehicles
In fact we even wanted to add the loader's M240 MG, but due to Zero Hour coding limitations we are forced to limit the tank's weapons (that goes for the M2 which is placed over the main gun's barrel).
The M1 will have additional upgrades other than the TUSK (which equip the ERA tiles, upgrades the M2 to the M312, turns the manned mg to remote, adds rear slat armor, etc.), an APS (Active Protection System) will be available as well (active anti rocket / anti missile defense).
Think of our TUSK as a customized version of the current one.

We have a fresh batch of vehicles for "delivery" on the very next update (along with many extras to compensate the update delay ).

Well we don't have a specific percentage of completion but I can say that the team has started to focus on getting stuff ingame (internal Alpha versions for example), this is done to focus on the public beta version (to release a public demo ).
