Yeah, the C-5 would be the heaviest transport aircraft for the US forces (capable of carrying even heavier hardware than the C-17).
If the C-5 is included then it'll be after the current transport aircrafts are fully complete.

That would be really cool. It would be nice if you could plot out your landing strip just like when placing a building, both determining if there is enough room to actually land as well as ordering the unit to land if there is room. The bigger the plane the longer the landing area needed.

this is a very good one xd ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
about the idea of the c-130 for small, the c-7 for big items and c-5 for multiple big items is realy interesting!
Then TAOW is even more realistic

yeah, you should be able to make a purchase que before the drop is initiated so you dont have to wait for 3 C-17s to bring in one abrams at a time. instead, a c-5 galaxy can just come in and drop the lot!

Re: C-17A Globemaster III
If the C-17 is already so big in game I wonder how the larger C-5 would look.
And the C-5 might not even be the largest plane to be probably included in TAOW

Re: C-17A Globemaster III
The AN-225 is a flying warehouse. I would love to see it in game and I am almost exclusively the U.S.! Fill that with infantry and air drop 'em. I couldn't even imagine how paratroopers you could fit in that whale of an airplane. Or tanks. 18 wheels, 6 jet engines, probably not the fastest by any means, but when you have 8 tanks and 20 infantry drop in and say hi on your position, it really dosent matter if they traveled mach 6 to get there does it. In my opinion he AN-225 would make a really great transport/paradrop platform for the Ruskis.

Sorry, the team is still discussing which plane might that be , when I have a confirmation I'll announce it on the Vehicle Table topic

I'm afraid the An-225 might be too big (and might cause some unexpected technical issues due to it's sheer size in game), though I'm gonna confess that I'm gonna recommend to include it probably as a campaign-based Ukrainian heavy cargo transport plane (probably as a sort of an objective).
The large transport aircraft I was talking about (the one probably even larger than the C-5) is for the European Union (though the lads are still discussing it at the moment).

Note to self: don't piss off russians for fear of them packing up their entire country, and delivering it via Antanov 225
