Skirmish and multiplayer suggestion...
To become more realistic in skirmish, instead of purchasing units you will have reinforcement... unlock units after you have promoted... then you can call reinforcement for some units... not just like the old ZH that you need to build structures just to have units... In the start of the skirmish game it should have a certain number of units like battalion of infantry with some variation with machine gunner, rifleman, anti-tank unit, anti-air unit, crew-served weapon infantry, engineers, medic, sniper and with platoons of special ops units. and also have 5 anti-infantry vehicle, 5 MBT, 3 anti-air vehicle, 2 artillery vehicle, and 4 anti-tank vehicle, 1 ambulance, 4 engineering vehicle, with 3 helicopters and 2 multirole aircraft...

In a standard TAOW Skirmish (standard 'Conquest' game mode), players will start with a general purpose team (not too advanced, basic units):
- infantry (a mixed squad composed with infantry from several classes);
- some light vehicles (like Humvees, for transport and extra support);
- a Command Vehicle (which functions as a mobile command center and can call in extra reinforcements).
Players are able to use Reinforcement Points (RP) in order to call in additional backup (RP can be gained by capturing tactical map locations and completing optional objectives).
Additionally, players will unlock new units and classes (like Artillery or Air Support) by ranking (check this post for extra info: https://taow.forumotion.com/member-s-access-f5/the-art-of-war-tech-tree-concept-t265.htm#8728 ).
We'll have many game modes so it can be adapted for many kinds of "tastes" , though in the basic Conquest mode players will start with standard units, we'll have other expanded game modes in which the player will start the game with larger and more advanced squads (composed of more powerful units like main battle tanks and air cover ), these particular game modes will be set aside (so players can manually choose which mode they want to play: instant action with lots of armament, or start slow and then advance up the tech tree in the course of battle).

Wow! That's 100% awesome!
This afternoon I argued with my older brother because he said that ZH is not realistic but I said to him the TAOW mod will be different and it will make playing ZH realistic like the Sudden Strike...
When the TAOW mod is released I will proudly boast to him the greatness of this mod! I'm sure he will rushed to the PC to play this mod.

and no Ranger armed with a assault rifle can kill a tank...
I wonder what is the ammunition of the Ranger, Red Guard and Rebel in the typical ZH have...
maybe it have a Anti-Tank double action bullet...
