We have numerous plans to increase the overall quality of Zero Hour's game engine, in fact we have made numerous tests and modifications but the definitive version of the upgraded game engine will only appear at a later point in the mod development (this will also coincide with the newly customized and upgraded TAOW Mapmaker).
