Don't worry, our infantry haves special icons so they're easily identifiable and located
We'll show some fresh images with said infantry after the blips are ready (those are being currently worked on and tested).

Hopefully you would making it that when you click the icon it actually selects the unit.
Because im use to clicking on unit icons in VGO, so I had a somewhat minor solvable problem in CWC because clicking on their infantry icon doesnt select them sometimes.

Our current test icons are kinda different (the identification blip icons are located at the soldier's feet), but don't worry as infantry will be easily selectable in every case (in the case we include a complementing arrow blip over their heads then players will be able to click on it in order to normally select the soldier in question).

On the upcoming Third Mega Update we'll show our latest infantry achievements and modifications, including the icons
At the moment the blips are still being adjusted.

Re: Pls read this
Since its about infantry are they going to be limited to the weapons of their classes
Like AT soldiers have only AT weapons
or would they have a small arms weapon for self defense like on CWC
(this option seems to make more sense)

Nooo Don't Worry, they will be very realistically organized. Infantry will be as REALISTIC AS POSSIBLE, Like everything else

Definitely
Soldiers will always have a personal defense weapon, be it a rifle (most common), a submachine gun (less common) or a pistol (rare).
The kind of defensive light arm will vary, depending on the soldier class and the soldier's main weapon, let's take the Anti Tank Class for example:
The higher the AT Class is, the heavier and more effective the respective AT weapon will become. The heavier the main weapon, the lighter the soldier's personal defense weapon will be.
In other words the higher the class the more effective the soldier will become on their main duties (in this case - Anti Tank Warfare), but they will carry lighter defensive weapons.
A Class 1 soldier will carry an anti tank weapon and an effective (anti infantry) defensive weapon.
A Class 3 soldier will carry a much stronger anti tank weapon and a lighter defensive weapon.
In addition to the primary/secondary weapons, soldiers will be able to carry a lot of other additional equipment like grenades, smoke grenades, light anti tank weapons (LAWs), mines, explosives, grenade launchers, etc. which will be dictated by their class or through upgrades.
