Me and some friends were planning to do a similar "tankette" for airsoft, we would basically modify a small vehicle (like a caddy or a small garden mower) create a "hull" and create a small turret armed with a light machine gun (like an M249 or an M60) and use it for some serious BB spray'n pray

The vehicle's project "codename" was the "CARZILLA" Project

Yeah, we were planning on using it for Carnival (which is very important here in Portugal) and walk on the Carzilla around (LOL check ma cool ride HEHEHE).

Just for fun, but we unfortunately had to cancel the "project" (it would cost a lot of cash because of the caddy/mower we were going to use was kinda costly).

Even though, the Carzilla Project was very hilarious (specially if you saw the vehicle specs ). That vehicle would be used for airsoft concentrations as well (and games as a small recon vehicle ).

There are more avid airsoft/milsim (military simulation) fanatics, and some even modify ex-army vehicles:

Classic examples include the famous Willys Jeep (a classic favorite, yet it's very rare and precious these days, a commodity among military fans):


I've heard of some people also modifying the Russian UAZ jeep (known for being one of the most reliable vehicles, definitely a military classic):

yo snake, if u were gonna make an ultimate airsoft vehicle, i think the best way to do it would be a "talon" robot replica. you could hook up a camera and everything. probably cost you less. and you could attach an an MG on top of it. use an RC vehicle as the basic Chassis.

LOOOL, we actually had a similar idea, there are small airsoft tanks for sale these days (scale replicas of Abrams / Leopards / Tigers , etc.

Speaking of Shock + Irony:

Yeah, we were planning on adding a camera as well (but when we saw the price of one of those tanks we were and immediately aborted the project ).

Foreign Commercials, ARE THE BEST! I want to meet the guy who thought of this commercial, or to at least have been there during the pitch. Ok…..so when I think washing machines…..its EPIC….you know what else is EPIC? ….ummm Hundreds of naked women skydiving in the shape of letters and numbers. The commercial is to advertise a Siemens washing machine for 4,999.00 DKK, or about $900.

OMG, that ad is GENIUS!!!

If it were for me we would include this as the alternative to the "flier drop"

What worries me the most is the fact that all general publicity isn't as "interesting" as this one (it would the perfect alternative to the current boring publicity , it sure as heck make us actually LOVE tv ad's ).

The cameramen on that ad were some of the luckiest guys in the ad-business alright
