Re: AIRSOFT / MILSIM DISCUSSION
Well we usually buy through the internet (specially business sites like Ebay), I used to buy a lot of equipment on a Portuguese auction site, but I haven't bought anything later (the prices are very high these days ).
Airsoft guns usually cost more because of shipping (which is more expensive depending on the weight it carries, more weight = more shipping costs).

I love your M4 as well
Having actually held and used your M4 I gotta say that it weights like a true M4 does (I think it's over 5 kg's with the M203 isn't it? ).

Re: AIRSOFT / MILSIM DISCUSSION
I'm gonna get my hands on my MG36 soon enough , later on I'm gonna mod that baby with some extras, here are some pics (not mine):
That MG36 haves an integral 3x optical scope just like the next one:
Later on I'm gonna add a top Picatinny rail (over the carrying handle) and eventually attach an EOTech 551 replica.
The next pic shows German KSK Operators in the Middle East, note the EOTech 551 on the G36K, that is precisely what I'm gonna do with my MG36.

Re: AIRSOFT / MILSIM DISCUSSION
Well my MG36 (the whole "system" itself) is composed of various parts (from several brands), I don't think that any brand currently produces a complete MG36 (basically to get this particular weapon we have to mount different parts together).
The definitive version I'm gonna use will have parts from a lot of brands (such as Classic Army, Star, G&P, etc.).

Excellent choice for a first AEG
MP5 and G3-related AEG's are excellent choices for aspiring airsoft players, I personally have an MP5N and an HK33A2 and love'em.
HK33A2
Essentially a compact version of the G3 (the real HK33 was built for the smaller 5.56 caliber instead of the typical 7.62 of the G3), note the full stock:
My HK33 has seen some serious action for many years, I still use it to this day.
MP5N
Essentially a variant of the MP5 with the latest trigger group a threaded barrel to attach a suppressor and some extra changes.
Some modifications and accessories my MP5 haves include:
- PDW Flash Hider (the MP5 haves it equipped by default)
- Suppressor (in case I want to equip it I detach the flash hider first)
- Top Rail System (for attaching scopes/sights/etc)
- Sliding stock (with an enlarged cheek rest)
- Various sights (Red Dot and Reflex)
- Standard and Double Stacked magazines.
